Is there any free hosts with this stuff?

15+ Megs space
Unlimited bandwidth
Unlimited hits
CGI Support
Perl Support
PHP Support
MySQL Database
Sub-domain

Ads don't matter

IMO, you're asking for too much....

The only places I've heard that was "unlimited" are as follows: http://home.crosswinds.net/ , http://www.spaceports.com/ , but I'm not so sure about the "unlimited bandwidth" and all those extra features you're wanting.

Advice #1: dream on....

Advice #2: run your site off your computer

[Added]: oops, forgot you weren't asking for "unlimited" free space... well, I still say it's hard to find a fwp that offers "unlimited" anything else, not to mention with CGI, PHP etc.

You could try f2s.com

But heard that site can be slowed some times :-(

Hits is part of bandwidth. What kind of site are you making? You're probablly asking for stuff you don't really need. A lot of people think they will need "Unlimited" but don't use hardly anything...

http://www.datablocks.net offers this... I think.

Well, it was worth a shot. I thought there might be some others. I've used both Datablocks.net and f2s.com. They both are slow. Datablocks.net is even slower than f2s.com. I found another. It has bandwidth limits and no sub-domain but I think it will do for now.

Thanks for the suggestions.

http://www.portland.co.uk has all of this too, except for the bandwidth part, which they limit to 100megs/month.
http://www.netcabins.com has all of this including the unlimited hits thing (I think) and will be up again in 3 weeks.

I await the re-opening of NetCabins If it has everything I want that will be good. About the advertising thing... If you want me to put up an advertising banner, I will be sure it gets seen. I respect the needs of advertising to support web services. I would really hate it if a service went down because of insufficient funds or insufficient funds from people removing the advertising banners.

I have never seen a host like Netcabins and probably never will. Netcabins cannot be beat. Unfortunately, it will slow down (like all others) when many users hear of such a wonderful hosting service.

Yeah, so the next time you hear about a fast FWPs with awesome features, don't tell your friends! ;)

thanks everyone. i appreciate the help you have given me.

BTW:
If you want MySQL support, _do not_ go with f2s.com. Right now, they seem to have horrible response time. Probably because of the load.

If you just want to have a website that either uses no Database or uses the standard DBM/Flat-File Database, then go for it. They are fast on that respect.

Don't go for Datablocks.Net because they are slow and have been for quite some time.
