the only bannerless host i know is http://www.9ug.com who offer ftp upload. There will of course be lots of newbies but they wont last long.

Actually, 9ug does indeed have FTP. They just don't tell you how on their site or their email.

Here are the instructions:
FTP to ftp.9ug.com
Username: Your Username
Password: Your Password

That's it!

Can anyone tell me the ftp to datablocks? Since I now have an account there as well I might as well use it too. :)

Datablocks? It's just ftp.datablocks.net , and your user name, and psswd. They send out an email with that info.
