gta3 help

i tried at the gta3forums - but since its just been released its been flooded with ''i cant get it to run'' questions

for some reason when i go to talk to someone and go thru the mission briefing it speeds up really fast and i cant read it... then i get back to game and start my mission and i have to exit and go to the breifing menu..


whats up with this? im on island 2 and i havnt seen much of the characters or breifinga nd done stuff by hand...


how can i get it to slow down so i can read it?

From my experience dont press anything when you see the briefing. If it doesnt work. I'll try it out. I got both for ps2/pc.

I just tried it. It works. I did nothing and it goes. Maybe you should reinstall. Just backup your saved games.

just backup the files in doc and settings and reinstall?

havent saved yet. But backup all the files you will need to have or else your gonna maybe lose it and then problem.

So backup all the files with save in it or in the save folder.

yeah i backed up what i think i should have..


but im only on the second island and i know what to do so it will go fast... ill try a reinstall :)

i reinstalled deleted the folders and saved games (back em up first) then played without any files installed again and same problem =[

eh, been on the forums too busy, since GTA has lots of problems...

Hey, Isolized. Do you by any chance see like block texts? If you do i'll give you a patch released by microsoft.

Thats a really rare thing. Everyone that i know that bought it has no problems.
