While I was looking through the Free Webspace forum, I noticed something strange with the top 11 posts. This jpeg is all I can offer...

Personally, I believe you were right here in the forums refreshing the pages every few seconds. Otherwise, how can you possibly post a reply so fast??

something tells me that this little man is just trying to get his post count as high as possible. almost every forum looks like that. most of them aren't even really helping, just common sense stuff. sheez. that 'top 10 posters' thing is't becoming popular again, is it? what a life he must lead.

keith, I try to help people as much as possible on these forums. There are many posts there that gives users some new information and ideas. I just posted here a lot today because I didn't have to do anything today. Just today ok? I have a life, it's just that there happened to be nothing scheduled today, so I hung out on the internet.

LeX, I see you have Adobe Photoshop open on the taskbar. Very curious program to have open on a fake looking image... ;)

Not that it actually matters... Some of the LeX posts in the JPEG don't have any LeX posts in the thread.
All in the name of fun.
(notice that I'm not in the running for the most posts on this forum)

Yeah, Rick... how did you ever figure it out?
It's kinda like how Nick was raving on about how he was the real 1000th member with the "proof" and not webman...

Hey LeX did you buy photoshop? ;) if you did you've got (had) lots of $$
This just isnt fair, Coolin how come when your bored and have time theres some good threads to post on. Whenever im bored with time to spare I post and i come back an hour later and theres no new thread and no new posts heck once i was here and there was 1 member (me) and no guests at the board. its like im wearing nerd (geek) repellent or something.

What do you think? ;)
A friend burned it for me and gave me his reg code. I don't know how he got his, but don't expect anyone in their right minds to go and buy Photoshop...

wow, nobody buys Photoshop, does that mean its officially freeware, oh man, I've waited for this day for 4 years, so I can finally have a legal copy... brings a tear to my eye.

In a way, it has been freeware for a looong time. ;)

It's not freeware, it's borrow-and-burn-ware. There's no difference in cost, but there is one in method of getting it.

I downloaded the demo and "fixed" it.
Coolin
February 18th, 2001, 20:10
Fixed it? I'd expect the authors of the program to include that fix with the software! ;)

The version I have came with a fix. Hell, you can't blame people for pirating if it's so damn easy.
Coolin
February 18th, 2001, 21:27
Pirating easy? Heck no! The people have to learn a programming language and hack out all sorts of stuff to successfully build a "fix."
