xug.net very slow?

Hello, I just began using my xug.net account and it is incredibly slow.
The FTP, my user site, and the main page take a couple minutes to load.
Is it just me or is this happening for everyone?

takes ages to load,plus there mysql is also very sloooooooooooooowwwwwwww

Thought it was just me.
Yeah, it took forever for me to upload an Invision Board, only to have the install take forever.
I scrapped that idea, cuz I don't want to worry about it taking forever for users to visit the forum.

well its getting annoying cuz at times i cant even access ma site through ftp,sumtimes i can connect but cant upload/download/delete anything :(

yeah, it tooke me a good half hour to get the Invision Board up via FTP on xug.net, whereas it took me less than five minutes to do the same on AMZ. :rolleyes:

weird thing is the xug main site loads fast as hell for me,but my site doesnt :confused2

its exceptionally slow right now, the speed has been better... though i haven´t been able to upload anything yet... the ftp´s not working at all for me, i can log in but i can´t do anything...

i emailed the admin about this but i get an email back saying no such account or no such host or sumthin

I'm having no problem conencting via FTP, other than the fact it it being incredibly slow.
And I have terrible troubles trying to load their main page.
Why do I get the feeling that this is being caused by file storage sites? :rolleyes:
BTW how long has Xug been up? Not that long right?

i signed up 5 days ago anyway... i don´t think they´ve been up much longer than that...

Well Xug appears to be back to normal speeds now.
Got to the site just fine.
Wonder what caused all the problems.

weird....my site is taking ages to load :(

Weird, I was unable to view your site, but was able to view mine.
And I cleared all my caches too, so I dunno what's going on.

EDIT: I was soon after able to view your site, and am having no trouble with the main page.
And now have successfully installed a Invision Board without problems.

hmm... that is odd, your site (ugz.xug.net) takes forever to load... been loading a minute and all i can see is the title... but the main page loads pretty fast now...

yeah http://jmiller.xug.net was loading very well about 10 minutes ago, when I went to view it again it took forever.

well, ugz is a postnuke site, that might have something to do with it... your invisionboard loaded pretty fast... hey, at least you´ve been able to upload something...

Oh, didn't know his was a Post Nuke.
Umm most of my site loads pretty well, except the images and the Admin CP is an absolute pain right now....far too slow.

What errors are you getting when you try to upload?
