View Full Version : Cookies problem?

OK, I'm running a phpbb2, but my problem is, every time I access the page, I have to log in again, even though I've checked the remember me option. It's kind of annoying, cause I'm still in the process of customizing my board, and I need to access the admin CP a lot to do so. Logging in every time is getting annoying.
So my question is...is this a cookie problem? How do I remedy this? If it's not cookie related, what the hell am I doing wrong.

What version of phpbb2 is it? I know that some of the rc's had some cookie problems. Also did you set the domain name and the script path?

It's RC 4. I'll take a look at the domain path again, but I'm pretty sure that's all kosher.

This problem has been discussed at the phpBB forums. Try this as a possible solution: delete the phpBB forums related cookies from your cookie folder. Restart IE and try logging in with the "Remember me ..." option checked.
If the problem persists try the following links:
http://phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=21546
http://phpbb.com/phpBB/search.php (Search for: cookie login)
Hope it helps.
