In winrar how do u do like split files so the *.* are .r00 .r01
coz i need to it for my mpeg,ive split in 3. :)

i use v2.9 and it does it automatically.
when adding files to an archive, set the volume size to however big you want it, and voila!
it'll make file.rar, file.r00, etc

This is a little off subject but it is better than starting a new thread...can you say put each one onto a different floppy and then when you put them on a computer it will become one file when unzipped? Have I missed a major thing here?

Thats right. You just make them like .002 .003 etc. then the main file will be .rar then when you unzip the .rar it unzips them all.
