I agree that it looks good, but do you know if they allow changing of MX records and such? Just wondering cause I want to allow visitors to sign up for email from everyone.net, or possibly bigmailbox .

the only downside is they only have PHP3. I tried them since I write PHP scripts, but my scripts require PHP4

from http://www.spites.com/signup.htm
Please note: The following material is not allowed on this service: Adult material, MP3's, Warez, Cracks, Serial codes etc.
I suppose this is their TOS...

They do allow you to change MX records.
They are upgrading to PHP 4
I read this off there message board.
They seem fast, and there control panel looks good.
but it takes them a long time to set up accounts
also just how long do you think they will be up?

do you mean the entire domain or just a single subdomain...and if it's only a subdomain then how did you do it?

in my dns. i delegated the subdomain as "ns" records to their 2 nameservers, then signed up for the domain service using the subdomain.
like this:
forums IN NS ns1.myonlyoffice.com
forums IN NS ns2.myonlyoffice.com

Why not? Mydomain.com allows you to easily set up sub domains.

You wrote that you have already host a subdomain hosted off the domain with NS record. How did you do that, step by step? Sorry but I'm a newbie and don't know anything about this. Could I do the same thing with FWP like Hypermart? My domain is now on Hammernode nameservers but I would like to host one of my sub-domain on Hypermart servers, and don't want to change the main nameservers. How exactly for me to do that?

I tried to post at their board but it doesn't work.
Do you know if they support SSI and .htaccess? And what about the adds? Since they come in different sizes I guess the number you have to use differs too?
Thanks
Answering myself - the board worked after all. They support SSI and .htaccess and no strings attached to the adds.

ok, say you have url.com on hn.org's nameservers.
in the "rec fqdn" field, type subname.url.com
in the "rec type", select ns from the menu
i the "rec value" field, put ns1.whatever.com
do that all again, except the second time around, make it ns2.whatever.com
use whatever nameservers your host gives you. if they give you 3 nameservers, do it once for each nameserver.

This looks like another too-good-to-be-true webhost, and sadly, it probably is. I sure hope they stay for a while though.

It's been three days since I signed up, and I'm still waiting for an email from them. If I ever receive one, I doubt I'll use the service...well, I may, but not for anything important

I've registered with them and received an e-mail from them within 12 hours ( well, they tell me to wait that long too ). I'm just waiting for my DNS updates ( as what Keith said ) to take effect before using it.
