Do you think Eminem means what he says in that song?

Eminem may seem like a mean, cruel, disrespectful, cursing kid, but he loves his daughter to death.

Now his wife (or ex), Kim, well she's a different story.

Yeah, his kid is probably all he really has in his messed up life.

Well, there is the money and the fame and all that happy stuff too. But I will agree, he does love his daughter to the ends of the earth. Kinda like Kid Rock.

Money and fame can't make his life much better. I'd rather have what he doesn't have than the money and fame.

You guys ever think his so called bad life is exaggerated? I mean that is what got him money, and there are a bazillion people that have had worse lives than him.

Yeah, Eminem the ideal dad  I'm sure Hallie and Kid Rock's son will be so proud of their daddies when they are older, what with the drugs, drinking, constant touring and sleeping with strippers and porn stars (Kid Rock), not to mention constantly trashing her mom (Hallie), who she sees a hell of a lot more than her dad.

I sure bet kid rock's kid will learn great morals from his Dad. I am sure he will learn how to respect women, how to be a gentleman...and many other important values. I am sure Pamela Anderson the soon to be step mom...the porn star and sex goddess will be a great influence also. If they really loved their kids do think they would do that? No, they only love themselves

We can't really say anything like that. Like, I know we live in some crazy times, but guitarnerd, I'm going to assume anyway that you're not a father. I'm not either, so I really don't know what it's like, but I think if I had a child, regardless of what my personality and disposition were, I'd go to the ends of the earth for that child.

I guess I am not one to judge since none of us really know. But the Human image they give is not something to be proud of as a father. There are just certain responsibilities

And I totally agree with you. At the same time though, we really have no idea what they're like in private. I can't imagine it's that different, but I can picture Eminem as a caring parent. Maybe not a good parent perse, but a loving one anyhow.

Don't assume what you don't know.

Eminem's daughter knows her father. She knows how he REALLY is behind stage, you guys don't.

Yeah that's what we were saying, but how do you think his daughter is gonna feel when she see's what he is like on stage?

How does Mel Gibsons kids feel when they see their dad kill people on the big screen? It's called acting. It's all an act. As long as she understands it's an act, than it's ok.

Ummm...Mel Gibson doesn't write songs about killing his mother...and other Violence that is worse. Eminem at least acts not to be acting that is not an good example. Mel Gibson at least has desency

It's a known fact that Eminem is violent and has done drugs, how on earth can he hide that "act" from his child? Irresponsible father!

Sure he does drugs.
Sure he's violent.

But does that mean he's a bad father? Does that mean his daughter will hate him?

Your parents probably did drugs too, except you can't see videos of them singing all high.

He has given her an oppurtunity many of us wish we had, and that oppurtunity is the chance to be anything we want to be. With the amount of money he has given to his daughter, she can pay for college and become something successful.

People make mistakes.

That is bull crap I know what it is like to have parents split up and everytime I hear my dad say something bad about my mother it makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable. It also makes me like him less as a father. Now imagine that your dad was singing how much he hates your mother to millions of people. That makes all that money and what you call "oppuritunity" not worth it. Cause you know what a good father may not have the money to get you into the best college or whatever but at least he would not do drugs or get drunk or act violent. A good father would provide wether or not he had the money

How many songs do you think he has that talks about killing his wife? There's 2. Kim is one and Stan (and that's about a man who is called Stan who kills his girlfriend).

He sings more about how his mother treated him bad.

You don't like Eminem. That's fine. I like him. he's an awesome rapper. How his daughter feels about him is his and her business. You can't change that. All you can do is do your best and never make a mistake (which you will)
