View Full Version : vbulletin help?? setting it up on host.sk

i am an idiot when it comes to this so thats why i came here. im trying to set up a vbulletin board on host.sk and i really dont know what to put in the config.php file for the "hostname or ip of server" part of it. nothing is seeming to work when i go through the install.php script... anyone else know the host name to enter for host.sk?
i really appriciate any help i can get on this. so thanks in advance.

if you paid for VB why use host.sk (free host)

why dont you ask at www.vbulletin.com/forum - bets response there

well, whats the point of having a warez VB, i mean EVERYONE suspects that every board is warez and submits it to www.vbulletin.com/contact/piracy.php / vb email even if it is a legal board


i think they would deffently submit it if they see a vb on host.sk

wow. after i posted this thread i found out the answer to my question on my own. maybe i am an idiot for buying a vb board, then not wanting to pay a yearly fee for a host.... but that is just me, a HIGH SCHOOL kid who doesnt have a job at the moment and had one at the time he had bought a VB forum. for all you people who will say crap about how easy it is getting the little cash it takes to pay a yearly fee, my parents dont hand me cash or anything like that. and i know when i would get a bill at the end of the year or whatever i wont want to wast the money i will have on the thing.

i dont even know why they call this a help forum because 99% of you ----s just blamed me of stealing and argued among yourselves. BUT whatever.. you can keep -----ing at me or whatever you like to do when you arent jerking off or paying for more internet porn. AND ANOTHER THING- dont bother replying back to this like im going to read it, because this board SUCKS BALLS and there is no point in me ever coming back.

No matter how angry he gets, it's still stupid to buy a vB license without having a host for it already.

Like buying a transmission for a car... without having the car to put it in.

yeah, if he is a high school kid with no job, he spent 85$ on a board with no job when he cant spend an extra 10$
