Fun with GTA3

I dont want to do missions... I just wanna get around and have fun (cheating is ok). What should I do? I have PS2 version. Ive done the whole, "block a street than blow all the cars up" thing, but Im bored. Any good ideas?

Go into a Taxi mission, pick someone up and ignore their destination request. Drive them to a secluded area and beat them down and steal their money. Or you could always pick up a hooker and get some extra health :biggrin2:.

Did em both, but then I started doing missions... how do you get to the other island? How many missions do you have to do, or how much money do you have to get... ??

You don't get to the second island for a while. You've got to complete the missions for the Don's son Joey and the owner of Sex Club Seven as well as the Don himself before you can move on.

I'm still on Joey. Damn. Good thing I bought it.

Yeah, I played that game for at least 1 hour every week night and 3 hours a day on the weekend for the first 4 or 5 months I had it. I was so addicted. 100%ing the game feels like a big accomplishment when you do it because it takes so friggin' long! So much to do. The game that I completed 100% I managed to do all 73 (i think that's how many?) missions on my first try. Of course I had beat the game over 3 or 4 times before that particular save, but that was the time I was trying to 100% it. I didn't use cheats either.

Im stuck on the mission where the ferelli (sp?) brothers ram you with their cars... What do I do? Should I get out of the car to kill them or keep on driving...? None seem to work!! HELP ME!!

Ok, here's what I did. I went into the tunnel behind eight ball's and ran over the homeless and took their molotov cocktails. Then, I went to the car and DID NOT GET IN THE CAR. There's one Ferrelli brother car on each side of the car. Go to the Ferrelli brother car on the same side as the driver's side of the car you're suposed to pick up. There's a ledge behind that Ferelli car. Toss a molotov cocktail down from the ledge and that car's done for. Wait for the other to come over and get stuck at the base of the ledge and drop another cocktail on that car and that one's taken care of. Now just go down and get in the car with the stiff in the back and cruise on over to the car crusher.

*Secret* - If you back that car into a wall a couple times the trunk will pop open and you can see the dead body inside. If you park it in your garage and throw a grenade in there the car will blow up and the mission will end, but the garage will fix it. Now you have a car to cruise around in with a dead body in the back :p. Completely useless, but oh well :).

BTW, I'm basically an expert at the game so if anyone has any other questions, I'm glad to answer (for PS2, but PC should be the same).

to get to the second island: use the flying car cheat and go fast and you will clear the bridge

second island, get a tank and using the flying car cheat, turn the turret behind you and go up the ramp firing, you will soon get to the third island

now, dont save on a file you want to keep because once a cheat is enetered its there forever - atleats on the pc verion

I cant do that laundry van mission. It's too hard. I finished that skunk mission. Simple now that I knew what to do. I'll keep trying and report back later.
