I wouldn't buy it for a desktop or a laptop..I like the fell of the keys pushing down so I know I actually pressed the damn thing. For mobile phones and handhelds, it would be useful.

Thats what its made for. I went to the companies website and saw prototype pics of cel-phones and palms emitting the laser keyboard from a tiny hole in them. So, if built into future products, this would be amazing.
