Sorry mate, but you will need to include more info, as to what type of image you want to tint. But selecting the image part and choosing the *paint tin* icon might be all you need. Click on the selected part after choosing the icon.

Please provide more info as to what you want :)

Alright, I'll try to explain it better...

Lets say I have a picture of a dog and I want the whole or highlighted section have a red tint to it, not completly red but a red tint. I've seen this so many time I just have not idea to do it. I'm sorry if my discription is vague but its the only way I can explain it, but thanks for you help.

you can colorized the image by clicking:
colors>colorize>Hue: 255 and play around with saturation

OR you can put a red layer on your original picture.

OR you can select the area you want it to be red and use "flood fill"..play around with Opacity on your tool option.

hope this helps!!:)

Thanks, that did help. I found a great site I wanted to share with others (even though it didn't have the tinting that I wanted)..

Webworksite.com Paint Shop Pro Tutorials (http://www.webworksite.com/psp.htm)

It has some different effects for Paint Shop Pro that are made simple.

[mods] you can lock this now.. case closed.. :D
