Latest Geocities Rule

Another reason for leaving Yahoo! Geocities! They do like to put regulations on their users, don't they? Well, the latest one is this: you can't link from any external (outside of Geocities) site to a file on Geocities. There goes my guestbook, forum, and any other services which require graphics.

I think we should boycott Yahoo!...

I find that to be a very smart and acceptable rule. All they are doing is protecting their bandwidth from theft. Bandwidth costs money you know, and that rule prevents anyone from using that bandwidth in such a way that the Geocities advertisement isn't seen.

I suggest a photo storage center, like the one at Bravenet. I use them, and have found them to be very reliable
