Does Stas.net have banners or popups now???

I remembered that stas.net does not have banners and when I went to its homepage it still says no banner.

However someone in here post this message:

As you can see someone mentioned that stas.net now has ads...does that mean it has popup?

Last time I went to a stas site, there was a huge popup which hid behind the browser window.

Stas.net DOES place ads on your pages, it's just in a 1 x 1 "IFRAME." There's probably a script in there that causes the ads to "pop up." However, if you visit a Stas.net hosted site using Netscape, you won't see any pop-up ads.

There used to be giant e-front popups. I think they still do now since they made an aggrement with evil efront. Sometimes people are liars like that have no ads placed on your webpage but now they have popups. I have signed up for stas.net a LONG time ago before theyeven made an aggrement with efront. If you want the best server with %100 no ads, go try hosting your site on your friend's web server or start paying. :P

Every free webhoster have a draw back.
