Um, what about that serif Verdana? Or wait, am I hallucinating? I dunno, I'm having a bad memory day. I could just look...But nah.

It's a sans-serif

In case anyone is wondering, serifs are all those little lines that you add to the edges of letters. It is probably most noticeable in Times.

"Sans" is the French word for "without" (I'm not sure if it originally came from French or from some other Latin language). Therefore, sans-serif means "without serifs", and fonts like Arial and Verdana do not have these serifs. :)

Well, to tell you the truth, I never use serif fonts. Not even on typed reports for school or anything. I always use sans serif... for everything.

I like Times for school reports. But for websites, I hate serif fonts.
