View Full Version : Fast & Reliable

Well, I need a fwp that is fast and reliable, 5 MB should be enough space. Things like cgi, ads, extras I don't really care about. Well, at least no ad frames or pop ups.
I have decided to make myself some easy cash. Make 30 or so html pages all with different meta tags. Have a page for "Britney Spears Pictures", "Pokemon","Travel", "Insurance".....and so on. Then, have an "enter" link that when clicked, goes to a high paying textlink adpage related to the topic, like http://www.wayads.com or maybe just http://www.clickheretofind.com/?whaterthelinkingcodeis . Fianlly, submit the hell outta the pages to Search engines, then start raking up the dough.... Doing this sort of thing, I realize, greatly decreases the value of the internet. I will, however, make sure that I abide to all laws and TOS. I'm sure I'm the first one to do this sort of thing too. Anyways, please tell me what you think about doing this, and maybe suggest a good host for this sort of thing.

I'm already doing this :D. My suggestion is to go to http://www.thebeaches.to and look for myLinkTracker. Setup the script on a HyperMart account and make a tracking link to a ClickHereToFind link. Set that as the 404 error. Make a page and link to fake sites under your address. Since ClickHereToFind allows you to trick visitors into clicking as long as they're actually clicking the link it is perfectly fine. Also join PopupTraffic and add that to get some more ca$h ;). Now, to get some hits. One word: TOPSITES. Join a whole helluva lot of them! Use this code to boost those hits on your topsites:
<img src="http://url.com/cgi/topsites.cgi?usrname" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="x">
Be sure to put about three for each topsites list to get good hits.
This works, I get about $60-$90/mo. for it :D.

You sure love to cheat the system, don't ya nick?
Nick
February 24th, 2001, 10:52
How am I cheating? My hypermart account has the banner at the top of the page, the topsites that I joined allow cheating, and ClickHereToFind allows flase linking. I'm not cheating the system, I'm cheating the visitor out of 5 seconds :p.

Yeah, as long as it's legal, it's not "cheating the system". Glad I'm not the only greedy bastard around here. Thanks for the advice Nick. And this way I won't feel the need to put ads on my real sites.

They piss me off too, but oh well. At least I get some ca$h out of it :D.

joining a topsites is the online equivalent of publicly admitting to being a redneck.

That's exactly why I don't join them for my 'real' sites :p.

It's good (real good :D) for the owner of those sites but bad for the visitors.

I find way too many of these sites on the internet, and I find that whoever uses them is gaining money in an extremely cheap (but legal =/) way. Therefore, when I see a site that requires you to click on a link to enter, I always check if it's a ClickHereToFind site.

Nothing a stupid status bar message won't fix...

Yeah, I hate those "Click here to Enter" and "Enter Here" links and pics... they make the real link that goes "Click here to enter blahblah.com" real small and tiny.

You have to watch out for the evil owners of sites like that (like me :D) who set the 404 error to ClickHereToFind and just link to fake files ;).

Oh yes, I don't have anything to do with drugs.

I am ever so tempted to do that now. To just make crap sites to get revenue to fund my "real" site, then I could even have a site without ads on it (since they don't make me crap anyway).
Then I would have one site dedicated to the fans, giving people what they want, and 50 others tricking visitors... all day long.
hhmm...sounds good to me.

Hmm..... maybe I should consider doing this also. As soon as I've, er, collected enough money, I'll go and buy my domain back from Namezero and transfer it to somewhere else.

Isn't that what the internet is? Hope my crap sites don't get much less traffic when you all do this.

Well, my friends, I´m willing to share ...
If there´s anyone out there who wants to get up a free adult site with me, please let me know.
I´m talking about a legal adult site with free legal content, clean, so no ad/popup overload.
As this is off-topic, please just contact me for details...
Oh, and btw, I´ve run such a site for several times and got about $100-$200 a month but due to time famine I couldn´t maintain the site anymore ... Now I´m ready to start again ;)
I hope to hear from ya.

How are all my crooks-in-training doing ;)? Just wanted to know if anyone has made any money yet...
Here's some stats of how I'm doing:

Well actually I haven't done anything about it yet. All that I have done is remove all the ads on my other sites, so when I get the dough rollin, my real visitors won't have any ads. So my "net" income is Zero right now.

Woah Nick! Can you tell me which font you used for the "Wouldn't you like to know" text? I've been looking all over for such a font! Perhaps you would be kind enough to upload it?

Oh yes, some idiot did something similar recently. And then joined every single blessed netring he could find, whether they fitted his site or not. I have 6 rings and he tried to join them, despite the fact that two of them were only for go.com homepages users (not defunct of course) and several were for women only.
It didn't take long for the owner of ringsurf to catch on and the idiot was banned from ever joining a netring again. He may even have been reported for spamming or somesuch.
Don't do it, you seem like a nice chap and it would be a shame to brand yourself as an idiot.
