sorry, took you a little too seriously. wonder how much the guy would want for it? i wouldn' doubt he'd go lower than $1,000,000 with the way things are these days.

haha don't worry bout it. I know domains are soo expensive. I got pcshopper.org and got bids like crazy on it. Idecided it might be worth more in a little while and so i took it down. I kinda like it.

the domain name is not end all be all. its how you promote your site that matters most.

Yes, but having a good domain name is an essential (at least for high-end professional/business sites) part of promoting it. Imagine trying to plug your domain on the radio if it's something like "free-web-space.net" that has a lot of hyphens, or one of those ridiculous 67-character names.
Plus people who have generic 1-word TLD's like baseball.com, sports.com, drugs.com, computers.com, etc. are going to get a lot of traffic from people just entering just typing the address without getting it from a link, an advertisement, a search engine, or whanot. Opposed to people who have something like "bobsreallynicecomputers.com"
Plus, a good domain name is essential if you want to have return visitors. Not everyone is going to bookmark your site, so it helps to have a URL that is fairly easy to remember.
