Question about html

is it possible to run *.bat files in html??
so they can't trace the IP Adress ??

From what I know, HTML can't *run* any file unless if you wanna call including music, video, and images 'running files'.

The only "RUNNING" files like Nick said is video and music...and then java and javascript (but still it's not running the file)

What do you mean "so they can't trace the IP address"? Sounds a little suspicious to me..

I believe you can insert javascript into a page that can run a .bat file. That is a way you can get a virus just be surfing the web. A pretty intersting way of doing it. But i am not sure of the code.
