Free fast loading java applet chatrooms

Is there any free service which will allow me to put java chat rooms on my website for free. Are there any without ads or with text links only?

Loads sorta quick, not lightning fast, but then again, no java applet does. Quickchat connects you to the irc.webchat.org IRC network. Therefore, you have to register your channel with an IRC client or that java client first. If you have no background knowledge with IRC, I'd be glad to register the channel for you and tell you the password.

although intially i was thinking of connecting to irc servers for the chat area on my website, i dropped the idea because IRC is a bit confusing for newbie users. Any other free chatrooms without any ads/only text links?

But i guess there is no harm in trying quickchat first. Can you send me an email and explain the whole process to me?
