Well, http://www.websitegarage.com performs some services for your website (page loading time test, image optimiser, counter, etc...). And they don't put ads on your site.

Not sure what you mean by "Website Tools". Try This:

http://www.hitbox.com/cgi-bin/page.cgi?tools/tools

Here's another service that I recently found:

http://www.sitemechanic.com

They give you image optimization, link checking, HTML help, HTML coding checking and the works.

do they put ads on your site (probably, right?)

No, they give you a checkup of your page, nothing to do with your actual site.

really, 4 free?

LeX

Well.... the free service(s) is/are usually limited, like you can only do a ONE page checkup each time, and like websitegarage, it only checks up to 25 links and/or images for you. If you want whole site checkups, then you'll have to pay.

Still, the free services aren't bad at all.

These services have no way of putting ads on your site because they have no access to your server.

LeX

That's right. They do this on their servers, not on yours.

Who is better-Hitbox or Web Site Garage?

Funny thing-Website Garage checks for errors, and when I open different pages, there are errors and sometimes it doesn't load!

Hitbox has much better stats, while Websitegarage's counter is less annoying.

do I need all of hitbox's stats? I noticed websitegarage has an invisible button, and I wanted to put that on.

Huh? You tell us. As far as I'm concerned, the more info the better, right? But websitegarage(that's hitometer, right?) does have an invisible button, so that is a major plus. But Hitometer gives you all the stats Hitbox does, without annoying advertising.

What do you mean Canuckkev? Hitbox provides much better stats than Hitometer! If you want the best of both worlds (more like a comprimise though) try http://www.thecounter.com . TheCounter provides an invisible button option and has a lot of stats (less than HitBox though.)

Have you been to gumball-tracker.com? I am confused on how it works.

My message may have been a bit confusing. I agree that Hitbox.com gives you probably the most stats I have seen, but Hitometer gives you enough. I'm not sure if you knew or not, but Hitometer does give more info on your visitors than it seems at first. It gives you OS, Browser, Java Script, Screen Res and Colour Depth and stuff like that. You just have to look for it.

thecounter is a little confusing-the stats, and websitegarage won't let me get to where I want to be-sign up and stuff-ugh! HAS ANYONE BEEN TO GUMBALL-TRACKER.COM? I am confused about them.
