Greetings,

One of my members pointed out that RedRival was no longer listed on FreeWebSpace.net. Any reason for that?

Also, a person by the nickname of "Phzzz" signed up here, but did not receive a confirmation email. They can edit their profile, but can not post. Might want to help them out with that.

Farewell,

Cracker

Freewebspace.net does not list FWP's that aren't accepting new signups.

Greetings,

Ahh, thank you. I was not aware of that policy.

I find it strange, though. It must take more work to do that than leave it as is. I assume the reasoning behind this is that most FWPs who stop accepting signups die out soon after. I would think it would be easier to maintain if, when the FWP actually did die out, it would then be removed.

Oh well, thanks for the clarification!

Farewell,

Greetings,

Oh, and one more thing, is the FWP listing removed or suspended? What I'm getting at is, will the reviews/comments still be there when it is re-listed?

Farewell,

Hi Matt,

If an old service is relisted, the old reviews will also be available.

As for your member phzzz: To post on this forum you need to sign up with a valid email address and follow the instructions included in an email we send automagically to that address. And you need to be 13 years or older.

Greetings,

Phzzz is much older than 13. :)

Now, he says that the email that is sent out automatically was never sent from your end. If you could, he requests that you might send the email with the instructions again to him.

Farewell,

Hehe, I was surprised to see his name up there by the "welcome our newest member XXXX" place a few days ago, he's from the RR boards isn't he? Must be, 'cause that's the only person I've ever seen by the name of "Phzzz". :)

Matt: An email has been sent to his registered email address now. If there are still problems tell him to contact me at peo@freewebspace.net

Thanks.

From what I understand you only get email notifications if you have started the thread. Still don't get email notifications when you have started the thread? I'll look into this...
