I have problems to delete files with my starmedia-webspace. It does not work with ftp-access, nor with their web-interface. The only way I found was to edit the file and remove the code. Any other ideas?

http://www.starmedia.com

You have to make a page in spanish or portuguese. They add code, but till now there were no ads. Registration could be hard task, till it works. It took a long time, that my spanish site worked, the portuguese worked immediately. Also I did net get a lot of down errors. For a small page it's worth to think about it. BTW if you want to make a portuguese site, you could try sapo too. But remember: you have no chance that an english site will exist for a long time.

Not really. With starmedia and tripod it is impossible for me to delete folders. I changed my ftp-client and use now iglooFTP, which allows me to delete directories recursively (very nice!), but with tripod and starmedia only the files are deleted, while with others files and directories.

Any idea? Maybe we should switch this thread to another forum?
