I like them, though i'd prefer just to host a banner,
and not a banner and a popup...

Juice1, if you place a banner on your site, the popup should not show. If it still does, contact them either by way of forum or email. I'm sure that they will be glad to help you.

So for the sake of us all, don't put up broken links on your Spaceports page!

And you think thats alot...........My Record is 11.6k/s
So stop bragging and get some real work done........
( When i got that record i was using GoZilla.....A free program that speeds up downloads by up to 80%....Pretty Good. You can get it at http://www.gozilla.com )

Supernerd, that is absolutely not possible using a 56k modem. The theoretical maximum with a 56k modem is a little more than 6kbps. But if you include the header in a packet, it drops to 6kbps. The file you were downloading was probably a text file, where software compression can be used. And if you have a high speed connection, and you are downloading at 11kbps, I seriously recommend you to get a new ISP.

The only problem I have with them is the whole idea of CGI/PHP/mySQL/SSI being on a different server. I could stand it if it was CGI/mySQL on another server but they should at least put ssi or php on the planet servers so you could make your pages more easy to update. That's my $0.02 :p.

That's EXACTLY my thoughts, Nick! :)
To me having them on the other server that is unaccessable from anywhere other than spaceports, kind of defeats the purpose of ssi/php/etc.

I agree. I started up a new website, and the only reason why I'm still looking around for a host is because my site requires includes and with Spaceports, that isn't an option.
