Seems good, although it's very slow for me and not fast as they claim. How's it? Seems like a rip-off of vb.

It looks and feels like vb very much. However it doesn't seem to be popular at all.

What other designs should they come up with? I mean forums these days have the same (or similar) layout with vBulletin anyway.

I don't like the colours and stuff of wBB

Well I hate to customise.

vB's default layout is better.

I actually like the colors. They look OK, and they're a bit more refreshing than all those uncustomized phpBB and Invisionboards. However, those blue emoticons are d*** ugly, and I just find it strange why the two German boards both use them.

WBB2 as they say is most customisable, that's what they say. I just hate their speed.

VB was the one who really made this layout popular.

looks quite similar to wbb1, but the admin cp is better i think. the minimize forum category thing isn't necessary though

Is it true that there'll be a "Lite" version that is free of charge? I heard about this quite a while ago.

Hmmm... That's going to be pretty useless then. :o

WBB never had any good features to begin with.

Yeah, now they are going to make you pay for the features.

I thought they had quite a lot of features...

geez, you really like IBF don't you?!

Why does everybody complain about all forums having the same layout?! Has anybody ever stopped and tryed making one which looks different? Personally I think the way the majority are layed out now, is pretty much the best way to display so much information on one page

I've given up the argument that all the boards look the same nowadays. However, I have ideas for an alternative style that could be done. I don't have a decent graphics program to draw this out though. But my idea of the "ideal" board is a minimalistic one. Kinda like MiniBB, but of course, with more features than that thing. One where the posting screen is a pop-up, rather than a new page in the same window. That way, the posting screen will load faster (without all the "Topic Review" section at the bottom), and you can still review previous posts (because they're in the other window). Also, using this method, it becomes possible to quote multiple posts by simply clicking the post button (and you don't have to copy or paste anything). :)

Hahaha, your ideal board is far from reality. Maybe you'll want to discuss this when I hold my 60th birthday?
