i need a host that offers decent hosting. most importantly i need a host that offers a plan where i would only need to pay them one fee. example: no monthly/yearly bill. just one. i doesnt need to last a lifetime either. just atleast five years or so.

in short:

atleast 5 years of decent hosting that i only need to pay one resonable fee/bill EVER.

ps. does this even exist?

yes it does exist but i wouldn't count on any lifetime hosting for just one time setup.
it's just not feasible for them to do such a thing.

my min bet would just have a yearly paid host
try browsing the webhosting offers i saw some of them
promoting lifetime offers

I would not do anymore than one year either it is not a good idea...it is almost like the unlimited thing...they say they can offer it forever if you pay once or they will offer it for a long amount of time...chances are they say that to lure you in and tell you they went out of buisness change there domain and reccomend that you go the this host and they will give you a discount for your inconvience...it has happened to people I know...

Anyway if you really need to pay for long periods of time go to a good host like Myacen.com and ask if you can pay for the next few years

Just go for a reliable yearly host and pay for 5 years in advance.

I wouldn't pay for hosting for 5 years in advance. That's just asking for trouble.

...the you lose your money. I wouldn't pay in advance for more than a year either. Once you give them money, it's gone.

The internet is not a place for long term commitments.

I believe Myacen offers price freezing as well, so if you sign up for a year now, 3 years later you pay the same price as you would pay now, if your plan stays the same.
