I'd like to see how it looks without the shadow effect. I think having the pale outline around the letters and the shadow may be a bit too much, but I'd like to see it without the shadow to compare.

Maybe if you tried making the logo the actual size you want it instead of resizing it in HTML it will look better as when you resize things in HTML it doesn't do them much good in the appearance stakes

Either way, I really don't like it. It doesn't really stick out at all, and the purpose of a logo is to stick out and get in the visitors mind, and I can't say yours will do that.

looks a bit plain to me. maybe you add some effects to it ?

Well I tried to take in all your suggestions and I redid the Logo. Unfornately print shop deluxe 10 does not have a smooth font on the headline portion. Tell me what you think of it now. Also tell me about the overall layout of the homepage.

Wow, that's pretty good. What program did you use to make it? Everyone else please look at the attachment and let me know if I should use this as my logo. Thanks nickmahon.

Photoshop. I could do a more extravigant one if you like. This one took a total of 30 seconds :biggrin2:

Are you a website owner or do you just surf? I would like to see some more if you have the time and want to. I just might need to get that program.

Yeah, that one is far more porfessional than the one you have right now.

I'm not sure on the price of PhotoShop...but when 6.0 was new, it was ~ $999 CAD. A very comparable program, by the name of Paint Shop Pro, cost ~ $99.

The educational versions are much more reasonable. :)

I didn't know it was quite that expensive of a program. Anyways, I need more input on my logo. How does my logo look on my site now since I redid it? Should I use the one that nickmahon made? Please give me your input?

I would use nickmahon's, or at least change it a bit to make it a bit more yours. It has more flash, without overdoing it.

<edit> after looking at your site again, I suppose your's might be ok, if you de-fuzzify it. It's a simple logo for a simple design.

I really like nickmahon's but the one you've got now is OK too.

Well...I redid it for a third time. I think this one looks better. Please give me your opinion on this one. I would appreciate any suggestions or input you might have on this or other possible logos posted at http://metasearchat.com/linktous.html .
