can someone please help me

i have lined up a domain name but i need some nameserver info

where do i get this from?

and what is the best place to host my site (cgi req, but ads not a worry)

Judging from this part of your post, I'd say this might be the source of some of the confusion. Your host would generally take care of the the DNS, so you'd use their nameservers. Alternatively, you'd use the name servers of a DNS service (such as mydomain.com, etc.)
