Maybe you should try getting a different kind of forum? It's not a very good idea to use those Frontpage-generated things, people always seem to have endless problems with getting them to work, and even more problems finding hosts.

I'm not sure, maybe try http://www.geocities.com as they used to have support for older versions of Frontpage.

Good luck! :)

hy,
I think these hosts support frontpage:
www.0catch.com
www.arcor.de
www.tripod.de <-- newest version
www.home.ro
www.spaceports.com

that are a few there are more i think.

If I understand you right, your looking for another forum?? If so, try phpBB. Uses PHP/MySQL.

Hmm...I think remotely hosted would probably be easier for him, since he doesn't even know HTML...

Well, you don't need to have any HTML knowledge to install phpBB, but if he's using Frontpage, I take it that he doesn't know how to use FTP. And if you can't use FTP, you can't install a phpBB board.

We fully support Frontpage extensions. However, talking
about running XP forums, I'd make the same recommendation
already made and suggest you consider another forum
instead. Using phpBB2 or one of the other good forums
available will give you a lot less headeaches.

Regarding that comment above about the poster not being
able to install phpBB2 because he/she doesn't know how
to FTP, we will install phpBB2 for any of our users upon
request. That is actually a very common request.

@conkermanic
it is quite aesy to learn how to upload with ftp, chmod and so on.
there are enough tutorials to know about it in a few minutes.
so if he want a board, he have to do this for it.
