Expired domains

How is possible to monitor some expired domain names? Is there any free services that do a couple of times a day and sending you an e-mail when it is available to buy?

I saw some domains that is unused for months and it seems nobody will use them. At the day they expired they are still unavailable and even one month later I can't buy them. It's rather boring to control all that names every day.

So, any suggestions?
