Just noticed this message on their page:
Please note: all cheating domain registration shall be canceled and deleted without preliminary notification and explanation.
What's their definition of "cheating domain registration"? I do hope it has nothing to do with the owners of 200+ domains... ;)

I also noticed that their domain registration script is not working right now... it gave me "oops" after I submitted my requested domain name. Too bad.....

Usually the "oops" is a result of going to http://domain.kg instead of http://www.domain.kg . It doesn't seem to work right without the "www".

Maybe they do not accept an "under construction page" for a long time. But do they know that a domain can be used for a lot more than www? What about gopher, telnet, email, ...
Can they check if the domain is used, or can this only be done by the domainhoster (like mydomain, zoneedit, hn, ...)?

so NOW you tell me (well i actually didn't ask) i always thought that if it says that then their servers are down....
kg.com is not free, i signed up one domain as a test and they send me a bill for 122$

So, why should kg.com be free? com.kg isn't free too, but *.com.kg is free, as mentioned at the price info.

Right... only *.com.kg, *.net.kg, *.org.kg and *.mil.kg are free. Dunno about the *.edu.kg one, I guess it's free too, but who'd want it?
The .kg domains costs 100 plus a buncha extra costs that adds up to 122. But don't worry, if you just ignore their letter they won't bill you, and the domain you requested will be available for registering again.

Do you want *.mil.kg oder *.gov.kg? I do not understand, why they make these free for everyone. Would like to know, what happens if someone registers nato.mil.kg. This is *very* "cheating".
BTW, in the meantime I believe the time of activation depends on the domainhosting mainly. I sent mydomain a mail re other things and mentioned my new *.*.kg-domains and they worked within 2 days.
Also I would like to know, if anyone has new info re: "all cheating domain registration shall be canceled and deleted without preliminary notification and explanation."
My *.*.kg domains work now and you will find one page minimum there, but I don't know what they think about redirection from *.org.kg and *.net.kg to *.com.kg and what's about using the domain for email only.
I thought about it, how they can check if a domain is "used". AFAIK this is not easy. If a domain is used rarely, the kg-server will be contacted, but if it is used often, the domain is cached and the kg-server would not be asked. So it's hard for them to see, how much a kg-domain is used. In both cases the kg-server is contacted rarely. Any other opinions?
