What is a sig and why would you want it hosted? If they mean signature isn't that pretty stupid?

A lot of places allow images in sigs, and I suppose this place will allow remote image loading for sigs on forums.
I don't know how they would survive though, since they can't stick an ad on the image...
Or would they?

hello everyone.
We will not place any sort of banner, popups, or anything of that kind on the sigs. We are only allowing 50k file size limits per upload, and users are only allowed 3 uploads per account. They have access to an online cpanel, where they can upload, view, delete, and get the code for their sigs.
We have also taken great effort in reducing the number of duplicate accounts. We log, and check every member's IP addy, username, and email address. We also monitor duplicate passwords, and check then with IP addresses, to see if they are close, and the probability that this person may be a duplicate user.
The reason we are providing this service, is simple. People use forums, and people like to get their name out there. They like to have some sort of freedom to display a little image under their message, to tell who they are. Sure, there are free services like geocities, and angelfire...but most of those dont allow free linking to their images without some sort of funky error image.
And for those who think we're not going to survive, this is not our only site. This is just one of MANY network sites that Xeo Networks (currently revamping site) hosts, and is owner of. We're not planning on making any sort of profit from this service. Just a free program dedicated to the people. Thats all.

How fast is the server going to be?
You don't want to slow down other people's forums do you?

im not skaggy myself, but my partner is. I did the programming of the script, and he did the design of the site. Our servers are 1 ghz AMD athlons, with 512 sdram. They are all connected to an OC3 ring.

NOTE: the about us, customer support, and rules pages do not yet work. im making those today.
NOTE: if you experiance any funny errors with control panel, that is because we are remodling it at the time you tried to access it.
