I have two websites on this server and have had them for more than a year. Because I have use Freewebspace and it's reviews for choosing free servers and found it extremely helpful, I would like to *highly* recommend a paid server called Elysium Gates to you for the following reasons:

First the owners and their customer service people actually care about their clients. They are prompt in responding to questions and in taking action when there is a problem.

Secondly their prices are more than reasonable for the service they provide. For what you get along with the spectacular customer service you can't beat it.

Thirdly, they offer subdomains as well domain service. While you have to pay to have a subdomain the price is neglible compared to the annoying pop-ups the services that offer short urls require,

Fourthly, they aren't greedy. They believe in donating to worthy charities. So I gladly pay my montly site fee(s) knowing that part of it goes to make this world a better place.

Of all the servers I've had websites (both paid and free) on I have to say that EG is the very best and the friendliest. Elysium Gates is more than just a business or a place to have your website, you become part of a very large and caring family.

So there you have it. Please drop http://www.elysiumgates.com and check out what they have to offer.

My urls (using their subdomain) are: http://vaughngardner.elysiumgates.com
and
http://wordsmythe.elysiumgates.com

Well, maybe they do donate to charities, but I think I'd rather do that myself and pay lower prices. I don't consider myself to be cheap, nor do I use the cheapest hosts, as I am paying $15/month, but $20 for 3 gigs is pushing it just a bit.

Second of all, that has got to be the most horrid looking business site I have ever had the displeasure of laying my eyes on. :( Usually, I'm not one to complain about design, but when they intefere with navigation like this, taking me almost 10 minutes to find a link to their packages, it just isn't acceptable.

Now I'm in no way saying that they are a bad company or that you shouldn't sign up with them, but I personally wouldn't.

Just my $5.95 (plus S&H where applicable). All sales are final. Thank you.

Milady Moderator,

I just edited my post including the urls to my own sites at Elysium Gates at the bottom. I trust that fulfills the requirements.

Thanks :) As you can imagine we get a few people coming in to promote a host anonymously, when it is they themselves that is being recommended.

I can see where a person would consider EG's prices "high" but on the other hand higher goals plus excellent customer service makes $15 a month for a personal website with subdomain a deal in my way of thinking. If I needed all the bells and whistles of the $20 a month site I'd still think it would be the best deal on the web.

I've dealt with other servers and while their prices for the package were lower the customer service aspect never lived up to what was promised much less expected. Plus they (owners and technicians of Elysium Gates) actually listen to their clients about what is needed or even desired. I've never seen them turn something down out of hand.

I think before deciding EG is not for someone they should write to Pegasus or Hermes. I think that once in contact with the owners the difference between Elysium Gates and other servers will become very apparent.

Again, just my two cents. I was one of the first people contacted about being a part of EG so I was "there" at the beginning and as a result I'm really, really sold on what Elysium Gates has to offer.
