Hi. Is it possible to keep your registrant information private so your name and address will not be plastered over the internet? Thanks for response.

You can lie but that is technically illegal. Just make sure you have a valid contact email address (get a hotmail account). You could also use a .tk or .to domain, they don't give out registrant's info.

You sign a contract when you buy a domain agreeing to use real contact information in your domain record. When you choose not to do this, you break that contract.

If someone should complain to your registrar, they have 15 days in which to contact you and correct the data. If they cannot contact you or you do not correct the data they are obligated under their contract with ICANN to delete your domain record.

Your risk.

I got my hosting company to use their address on mine, just ask your hosting company, im sure they will do it, just ask them for the domain password because some could turn it into their domain
