www.nerdnations.com - all but 'archive' and ''discussion' are done well i work on them, how does the site and design look?
works at a min of 800 x 600 anything lower it scrolls
so what you guys think of it overall and detailed?

all that white and gray makes it look a little bland...
the menu on the right doesn't look quite right. maybe change some color or do something on a hover.
on a less visual note, i'd expect a nerd site to use standards compliant xhtml.

None of the links work for me but the navigation is nice and simple I don't really like these complicated ones unless they are really cool. I like the banner and the layout is nice because the colors aren't so bright that they hurt your eyes but they aren't really dull.

Overall lay out is very nice but here are my suggestions/complaints...
For this site I Think you could do with cell roll overs on the navigations. (don't use Javascript though)
Get rid of the underlined links and make the padding on the text in the nav less it seems to stretched out...if you can make the tables resizable so you don't have to worry about resolutions and have everything fixed on the right otherwise it looks a bit funny.

i might get rid of the underlines, and as long as the browser is maxed at 800 x 600 no scroll, but you can see it still no probs at 800 x 600
any lower your freaking insane...
it did have rollovers (non JS, and it looked funny)

Did you try cell rollovers? It would look nice if...since the cells are all different colors if one is the darker grey turn it into the lighter and vica versa. If you don't want to get rid of the padding you should at least make the text in the nav go a little more to the right side
Dont get me wrong it looks good I am just being critical...and make sure if you do the roll overs you get rid of any text decoration
