Well...everything was kewl until i saw the purple THING in the upper right.. :D

It looks nice, but as the other people said, the purple thing doesnt fit in.

that blinking banner is painful to look at and makes the page too wide at 800x600.

Perhaps have your header flush with the top of the page, instead of having the black gap at the top.

make the logo a gif, kinda plain layout, make the bg logo not look all repeatedy weird, anti-alias the logo, i dunno ?
