Let me rephrase MN-Robert's question/statement.
Are you crazy? Who can offer that while still making a profit, without overselling the transfer they have available?

If you're only "considering" getting hosting from them, you are in absolutely no place to be saying "it's a very good one".

I must say, this must be the best host ever though. For technical support, they refer you to a crackz/serialz/warez board. Who the hell runs this, a group of 10 year old wannabe 1337 h4x0r5?

Another RS server...

Everyones Internet, Inc. (NETBLK-EVRY-BLK-6)
2600 Southwest Frwy Suite 500
Houston, TX 77098
US

400 GB / 50 = 8 accounts per server.

$60 / 12 = $5 x 8 = $40.00. How can they offer that?? A RS server costs $99/month not $40.00!! Do you really need 50GB or are you trying to start the next download.com with providers that (as this one does) OVERSELL. With this package, you'll be better off with a host that offers 5GB due to that fact they can't offer you that amout of traffic they *will* be selling you. The 50 GB of traffic alone costs $16.50/month, and they only charge $5.

Good god, when will people learn (not Puzo, the host!)??

puzo

but there's a site which uses this ammount of bandwidth which is registered with them

Only one, if 8 people used the FULL amount of traffic they paid for, they (the host) would be at the limit, plus a loss of $50 (or 50%).

Do the math, it don't add up. You can't expect to pay $60/year for that. They can't offer that for $60 without taking a loss.

They (again the host) seem to have failed to create a biz plan which will allow them to grow. Their current plan not only costs them money, it'll also prove to be a failure when they get a few big boys.

They are new, so they will learn the hard way...

We are however, a "Serials 2000" friendly host! By signing up for our web hosting services, you also agree to our Disclaimers for Serials 2000, regardless or not if you; yourself choose to host, view, or download and/or install Serials 2000. These disclaimers can be read here: Disclaimers

I wonder what RS thinks of that??? A clear violation of the RS AUP!!

If you site goes over the bandwidth limit on your account, you will be billed $5.50 per 1GB (1,000MB). Referrals to us will grant you 1 month of free web hosting, but only if your referral names your domain name as their referral & joins one of our "Pro - Platinum Accounts", at the time of sign up. Referrals are only good for our web hosting plans (Pro - Platinum Accounts) & not domain registrations or any of our "add-ons / bonus packs." You need not be a member of one of our Pro - Platinum Accounts, in order to refer some one to us ( you will be rewarded just the same).

$5.50 LOL, it only costs them $.50/GB. And a GB is 1024 MB not 1000 MB.

LOL, let's get em lol

Puzo, if your thinking of starting a warez site, get a life! You'll just end up in jail. If someone uploaded that crap to one of my servers, the RCMP (police up here) would be called (same as kitty porn). If the police let it slide, so be it. Service providers have a hard enough time without the bull---- from abusers. I bet the host you plan on using would also do the same!

No host is willing to put up with the bull---- from punks that think running a file service is cool. It costs money and no unlimited or host you seem to target will be able to provide the level of service you need for the amount of money you want it for. So either give up or use your cable connection like everyone else does. Then wait for your ISP to disconnect you, and end up on 56K. All because of warez!

Give me a reason, and all the other people why we should not report em?? Just so that we can steal software??

Then why the hell does your site need 50 GB/transfer?? Really! I don't think anyones site with less then 5 millions hits per month would need that much. Unless, your doing something you should not be doing.

Warez, serialz.. it's all the same... crap!

Dumbbell69
July 18th, 2002, 16:56
Posting serial keys is useful?
I don't care what you are doing. You can do anything you like, I am not your maid. But one day, I guarantee you will get caught.

PuZo

Recommending? How can you recommend something your don't use? As I said above, they oversell, big time! The monthly plan is $20, every 3 months $35 and a full year is $60. Looks like the owner can't add right

Daniel
July 18th, 2002, 17:02
Puzo does have an illegal site hosted on a private server.

So if we can't shut down the private server, we can cut it off from the bandwidth providers as I'm sure the it's violating the providers TOS.

If the FBI decides to seize your house, they will find clues to who and where are your co-workers.

Just to tell you, this is so that you realise that warez isn't worth it. You will be caught.

Serials are the same as warez. It's still a stolen serial number and the FBI looks at it the same way.
