Need a domain

I've never bought a domain before. But i need one. I need a .com .net or.biz or maybe .info
I need to know where i can get a cheap domain, and i also want to find out, if there is a price difference between the domains listed above.

The recommended registrars on this forum are: Go Daddy (http://www.godaddy.com/) and namecheap (http://www.namecheap.com/). The prices of .com's, .net's and .org's are most likely to be the same but .biz's and .info's can be slightly different and normally, they'll charge you for 2 years instead of one.

The registry for .biz and .info only sells names for two years.

If you should happen to find a registrar who sells .biz and .info for only one year, be very afraid. This means the registrar will own your domain at the end of the first year - because he can only register these for two years at the registry.

Prices can vary greatly, as can service and support.
