I am waiting for my cheque from http://www.focusin.com for the month of December. Has anyone got cheque from them yet?

They're a s-c-a-m company and hardly pay!

Should be enough to convince you their are better fish in the sea. :)

In the name of balance, I have to say that FocusIN has many happy affiliates, and that they do indeed pay:

I agree with Supermoo's statement that they're not the most desirable fish in the sea, though, and would recommend Burst!, Engage, FastClick, Luna or Sonar over FocusIN - if you can gain acceptance into the former firms, that is!

Argh you'll get you're first few then you'll be sorry. :(

From the visitors here I've had at least seven times as many complain about FocusIN than praise it. If not more, just wait who does support FocusIN?

Thank you for your advice guys. But I am now looking for a good sponsor. Preferabally those who pay CPM. Any Ideas?
These guys are off my list:
1. Engage
2. Flycast
3. Fastclick
4. Burst

A few that you could still try are:

1. AmazingMedia (http://www.amazingmedia.com)
2. Sonar Network (http://www.sonar.com)
3. Luna Network (http://www.lunanetwork.com)
4. BlueFishNetwork (http://www.bluefishnetwork.com)
5. Tribal Fusion (http://www.tribalfusion.com)
6. Content Zone (http://www.contentzone.com)

Best of luck!

Thank you again CZar,

I have already contacted and applied for Tribalfusion and at the moment they are not accepting any more entertainment sites. And also I have tried all the companies that you have listed but it came to no results from them and I am sad to say that they did not even reply my email. :(

Any more ideas please?
Thank you.

You could also try Ad-Up.com (combination CPC and CPM), or check out some of the pay-per-click or pay-per-action firms such ValueClick, Advertising.com, WebsiteSponsors, Click2net, CJ, DirectLeads, OnResponse, etc.

That Sonar Network is actually DoubleClick... and I can't seem to find anything on their site that would point me to any sort of application form for publishers. Just a bunch of corporate mumbo-jumbo.

I'm currently with FocusIn, and they payed me for January, but I'm still waiting for a February paycheque... Fastclick kicked me out for serving two of their banners on the same page (one on top, other one on bottom) and won't accept me back anymore... outrageous!

Sonar Network is no more. It has been absorbed into the DoubleClick Audience network, and we all know how picky DoubleClick are in selecting which properties they are willing to support.

It's a real pity that you breached FastClick's terms, as they are arguably the best CPM-based network that is accepting new sites at present. Next time, go through the programs terms and conditions with a fine-toothed comb before running with them.

Defrauding? Come on, how is placing 2 CPC banners on my pages defrauding... I guess you can call it "un-informed" or something, but defrauding?!
Anyway, I just got an e-mail response from FocusIN about the paycheques being sent out:

"Dear Member,

...We are in the process of collecting overdue outstanding receivables from our advertisers and we
will send out your check as soon as possible.

The good news is that sales are picking up and we are anticipating a more robust 2nd and 3rd quarter with high quality advertisers.

Your understanding and co-operation in this matter is much appreciated. We thank-you for your valued membership in the focusIN Specialty Web Network."

Sounds like they are anticipating more advertisers, but...
