I am well aware of what an FWP needs to do in order to pay for the service they offer just like anyone else. What I and Banner Killers do not agree with is the way in which they go about it.
Forced banners are banners which are inserted into a USERS page and are not provided the choice of wanting such a banner.
What Banner Killers have on their site is not a forced banner but a forced click system.
The other thing is their was no mention of closing down for good so I have no idea why you would think that... And if they did what would u do then?

Hollywood,
If an FWP just let a user decide for himself or herself whether or not to place its banner on his or her page, then about 99.9999 % of all its users would not. So, you see the need for forced banners now.
If by forced ads you mean having the banner forced directly ON to its members' pages (ie, it tampers with the member's HTML source code), then you should remove Nbci, Webjump, and the other FWP's who strictly use adframes from your list, since their banner ads are loaded into a SEPARATE FRAME and NOT DIRECTLY ONTO ITS MEMBERS' HTML. If you looked at the HTML for my framed pages on Nbci, and then looked at the copy of it on my computer's hard drive (not that you can), you would realize they contain EXACTLY THE SAME HTML. So, Nbci and Webjump's advertisements aren't exactly "forced" into its members' pages... just its members' "correct" URL's. However, this is only my opinion; you may have a different one on this.

When you sign up, you AGREE to have banners placed on your web pages, via TOS. Every FWP has a "agree to the TOS" thing on their signup form, where if you sign up, you agree to them. So people who use your scripts break an agreement.

Hey Hollywood, I just want to say that I would never use your banner killing scripts. FWP in no way "force" ads on your pages. No one forces you to have a web site hosted on a free server, so how are they forcing banners?
Of couse I don't "like" the banners. But I like free hosting. You have to comprimise.
Now, by you shutting down an illegal site that shows how to break the Terms of Service of FWP's because you aren't making money? Now that's crap. You say you don't care for money? That is a huge load of BS. If you have so much money that you don't care about making more, why don't you spend money on this site of yours out of you're own pocket?
(I believe a <sarcasm> tag belongs somewhere in the paragraph above)

Hey! Now theres an idea! An fwp could FORCE visitors to click the banner before allowing visitors goto any of the webmaster's pages..LOL
Kinda funny, BannerKillers getting Killed off because their loser visitors dont wanna support them...hehe. I always thought it odd that a place named BannerKillers even HAD banners.
Oh well, I'm not concerned with them. I have said it time and again that the idiots there simply dont have the brainpower to make a code to kill my banners.
<QUOTE>
Provider: Worldzone.net
Service: 100 MB Webspace
URL: http://www.worldzone.net
Summary: Offering a fantasic 100 MB why not give them a go! They do not accept Warze & Porn sites so dont try to host your page here if you plan to run such a page. However, because of the amount of space they are offering then would make for a great place to dump your files!
Code Details:
Place this code right under your </HTML> tag of each HTML page. If using MS Frontpage then save your website minus the code below, open the same HTML page using MS Notepad, scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the </HTML> tag and then place our code under that.

The code doesnt work you dip! C'mon moron, you can do better than that! Your not even trying. Then again, if I were an idiot like that, I wouldnt try either. At least I wouldnt be giving them a code that doesnt do the job...geez, the least you could do is tell them you simply arnt smart enough to do it..heh

We got the point. You're a blithering idiot.
See my other post:
http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1278&pagenumber=2
-and the letter I sent you quite some time ago that you never replied to. Normally, we'd delete these posts and ban you for not being able to understand the rules of the forum, but I can't expect you to be able to understand the forum rules if you are posting messages like that and actually admit to owning that site.
If anyone wants to check out the site without being FORCED to click on the banner (so ironic it's moronic), email me and I'll send you an HTML page. Not that difficult to get around *his* crappy js forced ad, heh.
Hey webdude, you know what would be funny? Automated account removal based on the crappy code posted at his website, heh. Big note telling them to thank Hollywood for their site being deleted, HA!

Yep..LOL. I hope he comes out with a unique code to make it easier for me. I seem to remember, they were comeing out with a code that works from THEIR system to kill ads on the FWP's system per site. I guess it died. Hmm. They are such idiots just for having Worldzone listed, and a code that doesnt work at that. Makes them look like bad coders, does it not? If their listed code wont work on WZ, what makes anyone think any of their codes will work for the other fwp's. If they were smart, they would unlist wz, but in the meantime, free advertisement for me...and I'm game for anything they wanna do...

Interesting debate on what exactly "forced" means there for a bit.
Heres a good example of "forced" that I think works.
I register for domain with namedemo, they put a adframe, big deal, its free.
They promise if I upgrade by registering with register.com it'll eliminate that big bulky frame with NAMEDEMO on it. Which they actually put as a term in their tos You can upgrade to remove the ad frame. (This may be a bit out of date as it seems namedemo has changed since then). I upgraded, used my domain, and adframe with big NAMEDEMO written on it is replaced by . . .adframe with big REGISTER.COM on it. I thought that was hilarious =) Probablly the closest to "forced" advertising I've actually come across on the net.
And the register.com adframe can be removed if you have a host that will let you point the domain there. And unfortunately my dinky free host didn't. Ah well.

That's because you used Register.com's hosting service. There are many other free hosts out there that support domainhosting. You can use the power search to find the perfect host for your needs.
