Can ppl stop complainning using warez bb!! My police will take care of that. If they get caught at last, that's their problem. Why does every time I come across VBULL or UBB help, the first answer of that thread is the word 'WAREZ'?
I am not supporting warez or what, but I don't like to see 10 out of 9 threads saying ppl use warez board!! VERY ANONYING!
If you dislike ppl using warez BB, then don't reply and don't help them!

this is very annoying, i know, but what do you want to do against that ?
it's impossible to stop people from posting because they want to know how to get the board running and they can't enter the "real" support pages, so they post here

Since we consider it annoying and most importantly illegal we don't allow such discussions at all.

Many ppl doesn't care how ppl feel. When they see ppl needs help on Vbull or UBB, they will just think they are using warez. How on earth do they know they are using an unlicensed copy of software??
I see most people say 'if they can afford to buy a VBull, why not any hosting?'.
Assume I only have the $$ to buy VBull, I will have no $$ left for hosting. How the heck am I going to be able to pay for hosting?? This is normal isn't it?

Not very logic at all since the vbulletin software cost $160 and you can get support via the excellent vbulletin forum if you encounter any problems.

YUPAPA, if they don't have a lot of cash, why can't they just use a comparable free board like phpBB or InvisionBoard? That way, they will have enough money for hosting.
Also, I agree that it's safe to assume it's an unlicensed copy if they can't figure out how to install it. I assume there is documentation included that describes exactly how to install.

in my opinion, all threads about vBulletin and UBB should be closed. There are some threads out about these forums and they still aren't closed.
If they need support, they can go to support forums.

Then why don't you send a report to a moderator when you see one? We aren't supermen/women.
This problem will not go away yupapa, nor will all the "there is no such thing as unlimited" "yeah, it doesn't exist" etc etc
We can nag, harass the new members, but tomorrow another new member, or established member will come and ask the same thing. Live with it, but a better idea would be if people ignored such posts.
As always, if anyone has a problem with a post/thread, hit the report button please, especially if warez is suspected :)

That shouldn't be the case. Perhaps there are some ppl here who can help. No harm trying anyway.

in my opinion, 70-90% of the 2.2.4 vB threads are warez.
i never saw some 2.2.6 warez board, so maybe we can see that it's warez when we look at the version

Okay let's leave it at that. Best to ignore such threads instead of fuelling tempers. AND HIT THE REPORT LINK :) (Can't guarantee a mod will be there before it hits 3 pages though)
