I have read the faqs and have try to search and could not find this info that I am sure is very basic and has an easy answer.
I am new on web hosting. I really don't have a webpage yet that I need to host, but I have a big urgency for hosting 4 mpg1 video files with arround 3.5MB each. They are made with my own camera and they are gonna be downloaded very little. Just for getting some opinion in a project that I am making from people in a miniDV forum.
My question is if the only feature for mee to look for is storage limit. Do all free providers support download links from other sites? I just plan to upload the 4 files to the web but don't plan to make any webpage for them (don't have time now), and link directly to them from a webforum like this one for the people download them. Is this possible with all the free providers?
Maybe it would be better for me to have a free storage provider that permits me to link files externally, but I don't know if these ones exist anymore. I know for pics there are places like Photos from MSN but I think they don't suport these large files.
