I signed up for webspace with f2s.com for my basic site. I figured 20 MB will not be enough for IB so i need a CGI space provider that will allow me to host IB , greater the space better it is. Any Ad-free hosts? Ftp is a must since IB has lot's of files in various directories.

20 MB is absolutely enough (unless you´ve got site that would have thousands of unique visits daily) , I was running Ikonboard for over 2 months on f2s with no problems.
Even Matt (Ikonboard Author) wrote this in his installation files ...Oh and btw, he started at f2s.com by himself ;)

Last I checked it hasn't. Some time in mid March is all they say. Sounds like it will be good too. I'm gonna use Hypermart to host my board. I figure that any ad free host is a rick because when they shut down, there goes all you members, and all your posts.

I think there's some technical difficulties in allowing users to upgrade space on the CGI server...

Yeah, it is. Is my site a business account? No. But it doesn't seem to stop many people, I'm not the first to break thier TOS.

Speaking of Hypermart, I have never seen a business site on that server. The reason is probably because I never look for one though.
