Is this possible..?
I'm hosting a website, which runs ASP scripts, but for my forums I'd love to use vBulletin. However, vB is php based, so I suppose it can not be run on a Windows server(well, it could, but I'm not sure if any host would set it up to). SO, my question is: Is it possible for me to have my website set up in ASP, but running vB..? If not, does anybody know of any good ASP boards..?
Thank you.

Very often a webserver running windows will have at least php installed. If you contact your host, see if they have php and mySQL installed, and you have 170 bucks you can have a vbulletin.

Or you could check out http://snitz.com

Many hosts which are running windows serers are supporting PHP you shuld see your host docs but to run vB host must support mySQL dbase so you should also look for it.

By the way i have a personal experience about this, sometime ago somebody asked me to prepare some web pages in PHP for an online database when i asked him if his server support PHP+mySQL he said YES,thats ok iasked him which host he has?He said
http://www.ucvhost.com
I checked the url ,the server was supporting PHP but it does not support mySQL so i told him that server does not support mySQL he did not know about Dbases nor about PHP etc. he insisted that server support SQL see the bttom of page I again checked the url and found a logo "Microsoft SQL server" and he did not know the little difference between mySQL and msSQL.

So be sure to check about the server must support mySQL because vB is programmed in mySQL and not in msSQL;) ;) ;)
