does anyone have any idea whats a good way to start out with php? i use dreamweaver right now but you just cant get the effect of yalls sites, well you might be able to but i cant seem to do it.

You should learn HTML first, then go out and buy a good PHP book.

well i know the basics of html but yea i guess i should get better at it , thanx for the input

Yup, do what Christopher said, learn html good first, then get a PHP book. When you get to that stage I recommend the O'Reily Books, I have a Perl one, they pretty good :)

i learned php first, then HTML, but that's the wrong way. it's very hard to get working scripts without html

I learned html, then coldfusion, then php, then I started on perl but i stoped cause php is better :)
