Great job with broid :). Still needs a few options such as:

- crop file
- skins
- ability to resize PL window cause the mp3 title is to long for fixed size
- a few other things that you probablly have planned, but haven't fixed yet

Anywho, the whole design and layout looks pretty good, it is a bit big though. I'm sure you'll work everything out, good luck :D.

I think the reason that it's large is because it was coded in Visual Basic. Although this program takes up less resources than Sonique, Visual Basic's inefficiency messes up a player that could have only been 300kb in C. However, I think ashben will be able to lower it's file size in future revisions of this program.

Thanks a lot guys. I'm gald you liked it. The application size outgrew since most of the modules were written in VB6. But the next few Beta's should take care of this and we will ultimately have a smaller executable but even lesser overheads. We are actually porting the VB6 code to Delphi/VC++. VB just provided the simplicity not the efficiency.

As for the features we are working on a whole lot including: skin support, audio streaming capabilities and mostly making the backend code more efficient & flexible.

Do subscribe the ashben.net newsletter at http://www.ashben.net (page bottom) to stay up-to-date on the development of broid.

Thanks again!

Just wanted to chime in and say Great Job with Broid.
Been trying it out for a couple of days now and it's great. Could use a windowshade mode but I'm sure you're working on that.

Peace...
