Just thought I'd inform you...
http://www.sictalk.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/001090.html
In short, they've changed partners from GoTo to Sprinks, Ah-Ha and FindWhat. They've lowered the IP count from 12 hours to 1 hour, keeping all their other rules and they're now only paying on 2nd page clicks.
I'm a bit unsure about what will happen, It will be good to hear your views on the topic.
Wondering,

Like Most SearchTraffic affiliates, I was very nervous upon hearing about the rule changes, however things are looking quite good thus far. Personally, I've seen a revenue drop of about 30%. Of course, a sample of one day is not particularly reliable, so the drop could turn out to be more or less than that in the near term.
The real challenge will come when we all remove our pre-filled terms (since very few bids reach 10 cents on Sprinks at present). For those unfamiliar with SearchTraffic's conditions, you are permitted to pre-fill your search forms with a term targeted to your visitors (ie, Playstation Games, Britney Spears) to increase CTRs, but only if the term in question has received a bid in excess of 10 cents from the advertisers of the supporting search engine.

Hello,
I don't want to rehash everything stated on our forums...
The bottom line is that affiliates with productive traffic will make more money. Affiliates with unproductive traffic will make less.
The program reached a point where a pay decrease was needed, and after very through and very careful analysis, we determined that a pay decrease was simply making the productive affiliates subsidize the unproductive affiliates.
Thats not fair, and we'd end up loosing the good guys to higher paying programs, and being left with the poor traffic, which would start the cycle all over again.
Anyways...our new stuff is about ready to finish beta...it's looking very good, running smoothly, and we hope to launch it asap.

Very, very good news. :)
Do you mean that one of the new programs is poised to launch, or both?
Wasn't it just two days ago that you were calling for BETA testers for the banner/button program?

The campaign that we called for more beta testers is the one that ready to go.
They aren't really beta testers....testing's complete. We actually just wanted to get a wide variety of traffic level sites from known, trustworthy affiliates.
The way its been testing...and nothing has changed...is around .20 to .35 CPM for button sized ads (large buttons) and .40 to .60 CPM for banner sized ads.
Your mileage may vary.........

Sounds very tasty indeed. :)
Since the program is about to be go live, you probably want to hold out on the specifics until the official launch date, but I hope that it's possible to run the button sizes while receiving 468x60 banner support from another agency.
Guess we'll have to wait a few more days to find out (and to investigate the unique features offered by this ultra-hyped program).

Ultra hype! Not I buster!
What I posted above is pretty much the most I've ever said about it. I've said it on a few boards but thats it.
It's you guys who are hyping it. :)
It's painfully simple, is an excellent replacement for default banner ads, and is returning fair CPM's.
Some folks will love it, some will hate it, some will yawn, and some will say "I could just do that myself."
And I GUARANTEE you that within 30 days there will be 5 "dupilicates" of it from other companies. :)

Not that we're trying to overwhelm you with new signups ;), but there's nothing better to sink your teeth into than a fresh new SI program.

sorry for sounding like a newbie, but does this mean that you have to search twice to get a count or click on one ofthe results link to get a count?
