I know there is an international account option (as I live in England), I have access to an English Debit Card, will PayPal accept this? Also, what's the difference between a Personal Account and a Business Account? I want to receive payments, which one would be best for me, does the Business Account cost extra?
Thanks.

As long as your debit/credit card has Visa, Mastercard, Discover logo on it, you're ok. If it doesn't, you'll need to get one that does. Personal accounts are for purchases and paying someone with your credit/debit card. If you're accepting credit/debit cards, you'll need a business account.

Just to add something to that, you CAN accept payments with a personal account, just not credit cards.

I think how it works, if I am not mistaken, that with a personal account you can only accept payment from other Paypal members, sent through their Paypal account. A business account I think will accept CC's without the user having to sign up for a Paypal account.

I think you're right...but there's a limit and different rates I think. I plan on accepting lots of credit cards so I signed up for a business account at (probably) a higher rate. When in doubt, read the TOS. :confused2
