View Full Version : I want to start a new forum!

Hey,

I already have a forum established at www.techforums.net but I'd like to start another one. I want to make on a specific topic, but I have not been able to pull up an idea yet.

Does anyone have any ideas what I could make it about. I was thinking something like soccer or even gaming, but then I might have more success with some more specific topic and one that not many forums are about.

Thanks for any info. Once I have a idea of what the forum will be about I will let you all know where it is and so on. I will probably need some help as well, so if anyone is good at anything that they are suggested and would be interested in contributing, please let me know in your post.

gaming forums are good, very easy to get members, you just go around to other gaming forums a spam it out and you can gets tons of members.

Perhaps you should dedicate more time to your current board (techforums) before you begin proceeding onto the next project/forum. Techforums seems as if their is not much activity. Maybe you should try to get traffic levels up and more consistent. In addition to (at least) five-hundred members before you preoccupy yourself with an additional forum.

Just my .02 cents :)

I think I have an idea. I was thinking of starting a forum that's kind of like the Ads & Offers forum here, but I would expand it a lot more.

It would basically be for webmaster, and web designers to post their templates and people can bid on them, and the webmasters can request them and so on.

I'd be sort of like a auction forum, but the auctions would take place privately between the members. What ya think?

I'm with ihosts.

If you are set on making a new forum, try to find a topic that there is a lot of interest in, and not many forums about. I think a forum for gay teens would do quite well, IMO.
