if you create a new subdomain for your domain at mydomain an email forward is created too, but it does not work. Do you need to define more things than done automatically?
example:
standard-email (login): i@anydomain.xy
domain: owndomain.xy
subdomain: childs.owndomain.xy
standard-forward:
anything@childs.owndomain.xy should be forwarded to i@anydomain.xy, which does not work, but forward from anything@owndomain.xy to i@anydomain.xy works.

you need a separate mx record set up for each domain with email for it to work.

Thanks, but I have no idea now to setup a mx-profile. Could you help me please?
It says choose:
setup private profile
public mxprofiles
everyone net's public mxprofile
Which one should I take? I am angry to change something, that nothing works anymore. Till now I did not make any changes and use the "standard" configuration of mydomain.

ultimately, is should read out like this:
domain.com in mx mailhandler.provider.com
sub.domain.com in mx mailhandler.provider.com
sub2.domain.com in mx mailhandler.provider.com
just depends on what service you use.
if you're using everyone.net then you should put:
domain.com in mx sitemail.everyone.net
sub.domain.com in mx sitemail.everyone.net
then you must go to everyone.net and do a signup for each domain as a separate account.
it's possible, it's been done:
http://mail.weezer.org
http://mail.fallout.weezer.org

Thanks Keith, but which service do I use? Sorry for this silly statement. I created a new domain at mydomain, filled out the email-redirection and that was all.
So I use that, what mydomain uses by default.
My 1st question therfore is, what should I choose:
setup private profile
public mxprofiles
everyone net's public mxprofile
I have no idea, what everyone.net can do for *my* needs. Of course I have been at their page.
